Committed to supporting families to create community and find the information they need when pregnant, birthing and finding their way as a new family. The team are made up of a variety of local perinatal practitioners & birth/baby enthusiasts waiting to welcome & support you on your parenting journeys. They hold twice monthly community meet-ups (online during Covid-19) to facilitate discussion & information sharing on all things birth, baby & local maternity services.
My wonderful, friend & co-doula Sophy Yildirim is based in Southsea. She & I LOVE working together & so we have created our Shared Care packages. However, she also offers Birth & Postnatal Doula services, sling consultations & workshops & supports parents on their lactation journeys. She also facilitates a wonderful walking group who meet weekly for fresh air, gentle exercise, chat, tea & cake!
The Daisy Foundation classes take you from 14wks pregnant through to your baby's 2nd birthday with a variety of empowering & supportive classes. Beth Broadway (Midwife), Sarah Lewis, Ashley Raynor & Terri Canning make up the wonderful team of practitioners covering East Southampton right along the Solent to Chichester & Bognor Regis.
Claire offers Hypnobirthing Classes both remotely & from her base at home in Clanfield. She holds a diploma in KG Hypnobirthing & is a regular at Informed Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond Community Meet-Ups.
Emma is based in based in Southampton & also covers the surrounding areas offering Hypnobirthing classes using The Little Birth Company Method. Emma is also the Chair of Southampton Maternity Voices Partnership.
Katie lives in Burseldon, Southampton & is a trained Little Birth Company hypnobirthing instructor & ABM Mother Supporter
Alverstoke Chiropractic Clinic is a small, patient centred practice in Gosport founded by Philippa Wilmot in 2010. Philippa mainly uses the McTimoney method & has a passion for Pregnancy & Paediatric care. She truly has, "Magic Hands"!
Kat offers both online & in person Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga in Sarisbury Green, Whiteley & the Surrounding area.
Ann-Maree Purnell has a wealth of knowledge & experience as a qualified Pilates Instructor, including Pre & Postnatal Pilates. She works both remotely & in person across Southampton & Fareham, working 1-2-1, in small groups & classes.
Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield, Liss, Hayling Island, Basingstoke, Fareham, Whiteley & Gosport are all areas covered by The Breastfeeding Network. These local projects are supported by groups of Volunteer Mums who have all themselves breastfed.
